gaps to watch:  csco (premarket low at about 22.20, going to open near to that low. huge gap down shorts will be happy and taking profits though not enough shorts in the stock in my opinion for it to get very interesting.  looking for the dead cat bounce here, note cisco also downgraded, some short term premarket resistance @ 20.50

Advancers

Dendreon Corp. (DNDN 36.81+1.98+5.69%) shares rose 5.9% in the premarket. The Seattle biotech firm is asking the Food and Drug Administration to license 36 more workstations to produce cancer drug Provenge at a New Jersey plant. The FDA cleared the drug for marketing in April.
Optelecom Inc.(OPTC 2.39+0.81+50.88%)  shares leaped 51% before the bell. The Germantown, Md., provider of video-surveillance solutions entered a efinitive agreement to be acquired for $2.45 a share by TKH Group NV. The deal price is 59% over Wednesday’s close and 73% above the average close in the past 30 trading days.

Decliners

Cisco Systems Inc.(CSCO 20.36-4.13-16.86%) shares slumped 17% before the opening bell. The telecom-networking giant’s sales outlook — up 3% to 5% for the fourth quarter — disappointed analysts and investors.Read more on investor disappointment over Cisco’s weak outlook.
Juniper Networks (JNPR 32.35-2.20-6.37%) shares were down 7.1%. The company is a rival of Cisco.
Kulicke & Soffa Industries Inc. (KLIC 5.79-0.58-9.11%) shares gave up 6.8% in preopen trading. The Fort Washington, Pa., chip-equipment producer forecast fourth-quarter revenue of $125 million to $135 million. A survey of analysts by FactSet Research yielded a consensus estimate of $214.6 million.
Tower Semiconductor Ltd. (TSEM 1.55-0.06-3.73%) shares shed 8.7% before the open. The Migdal ha’Emeq, Israel, chip foundry swung to a third-quarter profit of 1 cent a share from a second-quarter loss of 4 cents. Adjusted profit was 15 cents in the third quarter, up from 8 cents in the year-earlier period. Tower estimated fourth-quarter revenue at $133 million to $137 million.
