New Ratings (ALTH, BRE, CLP, CVU, GNC, HME, LVS, PPS, QIHU, TLLP, WYNN) Research Firms Initiate or Resume: Allos Therapeutics (NASDAQ:ALTH) was resumed with a Buy at Brean Murray. The firm lowered its target price to $6 from $9 saying first quarter results was a mixed bag for Allos, with disappointment from lower-than-expected Folotyn sales offset by a partnership with Mundipharma that provides Allos with an immediate cash infusion and a 40-50% reduction in the company's future pralatrexate-based development expenses. BRE Properties (NYSE:BRE) was initiated with a Buy and a target price of $54 at Wunderlich. The firm believes BRE’s equity raise could allow it to acquire properties in its core markets and drive above-average growth. Colonial Properties (NYSE:CLP) was initiated with a Hold and a target price of $21 at Wunderlich. The firm believes that the company has made it through the worst of the economic challenges that impacted its Sunbelt-focused portfolio, but near-term outlook for growth remains somewhat below peers. CPI Aerostructures (NYSE:CVU) was initiated with a Buy at EarlyBirdCapital. GNC Holdings (NYSE:GNC) was initiated with Outperform at Credit Suisse and Market Perform at BMO Capital. Home Properties (NYSE:HME) was initiated with a Buy and a target price of $75 at Wunderlich. The firm said it expects management's strategy of upgrading and repositioning modestly priced apartment units to generate meaningful rental rate growth. Las Vegas Sands (NYSE:LVS), the owner and operator of casino resorts and convention centers in the U.S., Macau, and Singapore, was initiated with a Buy and a target price of $53 at Nomura. Post Properties (NYSE:PPS) was initiated with a Hold and a target price of $41 at Wunderlich. The firm said the current portfolio and development activity located in Tier-1 markets will benefit from housing industry trends, however the shares' current valuation reflects the company's fundamental prospects. Qihoo 360 Technology (NYSE:QIHU) was initiated with a Buy at Citigroup. Tesoro Logistics LP (NASDAQ:TLLP) was initiated with Outperform and a target price of $30 at Oppenheimer. The firm believes Tesoro Logistics represents the first opportunity in years to own a 100% fee-based, low-risk, pipeline MLP with significant dropdown and organic growth potential early in its life cycle. Assets include a large crude oil gathering system in North Dakota and Montana that provides exposure to Bakken formation growth. Wynn Resorts (NASDAQ:WYNN), the owner and operator of luxury resorts and casinos, was initiated with a Neutral and a target price of $163 at Nomura. |
