Advancers Dynamex (DDMX 23.52, +2.40, +11.36%) shares moved up 11% in premarket trade. The Dallas provider of same-day delivery and logistics services received a takeover proposal at $23.50 a share. A statement didn’t identify the bidder. In October, the company definitively agreed to be acquired by affiliates of Greenbriar Equity Group for $21.25 a share. On Tuesday, DDMX closed at $21.12, then rose to $23.50 in after-hours trade. FSI International Inc.(FSII 3.45, +0.25, +7.81%) shares moved ahead 7.8% in premarket trade. The Minneapolis producer of surface-conditioning equipment used in microelectronics manufacturing said it sold a system to an Asian chipmaker.
Guess Inc. (GES 48.41, +3.07, +6.77%) shares advanced 7.2% before the bell. The Los Angeles apparel-and-accessories marketer reported stronger-than-expected earnings, lifted its outlook, raised the quarterly dividend and declared a special $2-a-share payout

The Hanoi company, with interests including construction and natural resources in Vietnam, narrowed its third-quarter loss to 62 cents a share from 85 cents. The company expects a 2010 loss of $6 million to $7 million on about 4% higher revenue.
