Advancers

Amtech Systems Inc. (ASYS 19.55+2.27+13.14%) shares moved up 10% before the bell. The Tempe, Ariz., producer of automation equipment for production of solar cells, semiconductors and silicon wafers swung to third-quarter net income of 58 cents a share from a year-earlier loss of 2 cents.  Bucyrus International(BUCY 90.28+20.66+29.68%) shares jumped 30% before regular trading began on Monday. The mining-equipment producer agreed to be acquired by Caterpillar(CAT 79.49-1.55-1.91%) for $92 a share, or 32% above its Friday closing price.
Heartware International Inc.(HTWR 85.45+13.19+18.25%) shares rallied 19% before the bell. The Framingham, Mass., producer of technology to treat advanced heart failure reported progress with a study of its investigational bridge-to-transplant device.
Isilon Systems Inc. (ISLN 33.86+7.57+28.79%) shares were up 29% in the premarket. The Seattle provider of storage systems for file-based data like video, audio and digital images agreed to be acquired by EMC Corp. (EMC 21.69-0.03-0.14%) for $33.85 a share in cash. The shares closed Friday at $26.29.
Sunesis Pharmaceutical Inc. (SNSS 0.33+0.02+4.92%) shares added 7.3% in premarket trading. The South San Francisco biopharma firm was granted a patent by the U.S. Patent and trademark Office for the pharmaceutical compositions of its lead drug candidate, the cancer treatment vosaroxin.
Telestone Technologies Corp. (TSTC 14.45+2.43+20.22%) shares rose 16% before the bell. The Beijing provider of telecom-network solutions reported third-quarter net income more than doubled to $1.14 a share from 41 cents a year earlier.

Decliners

Rino International Corp. (RINO 9.27-1.74-15.80%) shares fell 9.2% before the bell. The Dalian, China, provider of wastewater-treatment and other environmental solutions for iron-and-steel firms reported third-quarter net income fell 48% to $8.8 million, or 31 cents a share.
Thoratec Corp. (THOR 26.10-4.85-15.67%) shares fell 11% in the premarket. The Pleasanton, Calif., producer of technology to treat heart failure is scheduled on Tuesday to brief investors on its systems at a meeting of the American Heart Association
